Eternal Son of God
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)
Jesus is not a created being. He existed eternally with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
God in the Flesh (Incarnate)
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.” (John 1:14)
He entered human history through the virgin birth (Luke 1:26–38; Matthew 1:18–25), fully divine yet fully human.
Savior and Redeemer
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” (Luke 19:10)
Through His sinless life, sacrificial death, and resurrection, Jesus made a way for mankind to be reconciled to God (Romans 5:8, 2 Corinthians 5:21).
Resurrected and Exalted Lord
“God raised him from the dead... and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 1:20–21)
Jesus conquered sin, death, and the grave. He is alive and reigns as Lord of all.
Soon-Coming King
“This same Jesus... will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:11)
He will return to judge the world and establish His eternal kingdom.
The Baptizer in the Holy Spirit
“He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” (Matthew 3:11)
After salvation, believers are encouraged to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, empowering them for service, bold witness, and spiritual gifts (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1–4).
The Healer
“By His wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 8:16–17)
Spirit-filled churches believe Jesus still heals today—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—through faith and prayer.
The Head of the Church
“Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.” (Ephesians 5:23)
All authority, leadership, and life flow from Jesus to His church.
The Giver of Spiritual Gifts
“To each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” (1 Corinthians 12:7–11)
Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, equips His followers with gifts for ministry, including prophecy, healing, tongues, and more.
